Nacchan provides Discord moderation, automation, community, billing, and optional game features. This policy explains the information processed to operate those features.
Nacchan processes Discord identifiers and configuration necessary to provide its features. This may include server, channel, message, user, role, and application identifiers; server settings; automation and onboarding settings; audit events; delivery results; saved-message collection metadata; selected language and tone settings; and staff-console authentication identifiers.
For optional community features, Nacchan may store pat totals, point balances and ledger entries, verified Top.gg vote receipts, garden progress and collection totals, giveaway entries and winner records, and partner-listing and delivery records. Nacchan does not sell personal data. It does not retain ordinary message content for moving or routing beyond the time required to perform that action. Saved-message collections are an explicit server-admin feature.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Nacchan stores Stripe customer, subscription, plan, price, and status identifiers needed to provide paid access. Nacchan does not receive or store payment-card numbers.
Nacchan shares data only with service providers needed to operate the service, including Discord, Stripe, and Top.gg when the relevant optional feature is enabled. Server administrators control their own configuration and may remove Nacchan from a server. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to operate the feature, resolve disputes, maintain security, or meet legal obligations.
For support or privacy requests, contact support@neko.black. Server administrators may remove Nacchan and disable optional features at any time.
Nacchan records aggregate daily counts of feature usage, invocation source, and outcome to improve reliability and understand feature adoption. These records do not include Discord user, server, channel, message, or interaction identifiers; message content; command arguments; or error text. Aggregate usage telemetry is retained for 13 months.
When a server administrator explicitly enables AI Companion for a channel, Nacchan may send eligible text-only messages from that channel to OpenAI to produce a reply. Nacchan keeps a capped two-hour in-memory/Redis context and does not store raw channel transcripts in its database. OpenAI API content is not used for model training unless OpenAI is explicitly opted in to data sharing, but OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under its default data controls. Members can opt out at any time; opted-out content is excluded from future prompts. Nacchan may create visible, editable AI memories; automatic memories expire after 90 days unless pinned.
When enabled by Nacchan staff, AI Companion may use OpenAI web search for a limited number of current-fact questions in an opted-in channel. Nacchan does not store search queries, search results, or source links; only aggregate lookup usage is recorded.
